Westvic's School Services Programme offers students and schools assistance with information on careers and employment.

The School Services Programme includes:

  • Vocational options and Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASbA)
  • Career guidance, job-seeking skills, interview techniques, resume preparation and letters of application.
  • Employer expectations — do you have what it takes?
  • Helping students with skill enhancement and motivation
  • How to get the most out of school
  • Support, guidance, referral and monitoring to define what your career goals are and how best to achieve it. Your dreams can become a reality!
  • A 'one stop shop' to find information fast and confidentially. You can be assured you are treated like a person, not a number.
  • Help to find a job, including direct referrals to jobs and ongoing support should you need it
  • Apprenticeships and traineeships – how to start your new career
  • Centrelink, career counselling, Youth Allowance, approved training activities, and referrals to professional support agencies
  • Information on the Westvic Youth Foundation, which aims to assist individuals in the secondary school system in need of financial support to participate in vocational studies
