Peter brings specialist skills in the area of finance and education. Peter holds several qualifications in the education arena including a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Education.
Peter is known for his strong leadership skills and is heavily committed to the local community.
Helen MorrisonVice Chair
Helen is self-employed and very active in the community. She brings significant experience to the board and draws on her extensive directorship knowledge. Helen is also a director of Monivae College Board and has qualifications in Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education and a Certificate in Real Estate.
Dean LucianiSecretary / CEO
Dean commenced his career as an apprentice before combining work and ongoing study to move into quality systems and management. Dean holds various management qualifications and has served on a number of Boards in the Education and Health sectors over the last ten years.
With a specific interest in quality systems, corporate governance and risk management, Dean is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Chair of the Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) industry association.
With almost 20 years’ experience within the Vocational Education and Training Sector, in both Metropolitan and Regional areas, Dean is a strong believer in quality governance, underpinned by quality systems.
Barrie BakerBoard Member
Since retiring from a senior role in the VET sector Barrie maintains effective links to the community and has a strong understanding of vocational, education and training.
Barrie’s extensive background experience across the employment and training sector is greatly valued coupled with sound governance knowledge and skills.
Kevin LeddinBoard Member
Kevin has extensive experience in the provision of corporate services at an executive level within local government. Along with a Bachelor of Business, Kevin has a strong background in financial management, auditing and governance.
Kevin is a strong advocate for working collaboratively with business and community organisations to achieve positive outcomes.
Gerard RyanBoard Member
Gerard commenced his own electrical contracting business in 1986 and has been a long term supporter of training electrical apprentices through the Group Training model. His keen interest in the skill development of our regions youth is equaled by his passion for community engagement and regional development.
William BongersBoard Member
William has an in-depth understanding of the importance of vocational training, having commenced a Certificate III in General Construction whilst completing his secondary school studies (Student Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship). William is now a qualified carpenter and has completed Cert III in Work Health & Safety.
William has a passion for trade work and has represented Westvic Staffing Solutions at a federal level thru Today’s Skills: Tomorrow’s Leaders program.
Shannon CurranBoard Member
Appointed in February 2016, Shannon commenced working life as a qualified Fitter and Turner and is currently a senior manager with the Port of Portland.
Given Shannon’s work history; he is a passionate supporter of apprenticeships and traineeships and is actively involved in his local community.
