Westvic has successfully moved into a new market with its new dual qualification - the Diploma of Management and Human Resources Management.
The course will start in March with strong demand resulting in a full enrolment of students.
Joining the first group of students will be All Fresh Seafood’s office manager Judy Rantall, who was a finalist in the 2011 Westvic Staffing Solutions inaugural Return to Study award.
Judy has previously completed Certificate IV qualifications in Frontline Management and Training and Assessment and sees the new dual diploma as her next logical progression.
“It’s a way of stepping up for me,” Judy said.
The qualifications Judy gained last year are already paying off. “I have been in my job for a long time without a formal qualification. There is value in seeing if you can go about things in a better way and improving your knowledge. It has really broadened my perspective.
“It is nice to have some formal qualifications.”
Judy said she was looking forward to continuing learning new skills through the new diploma.
