Westvic Staffing Solutions Foundation

Westvic Staffing Solutions is a not for profit community based organisation. It has a commitment to support the western district community not only through expansion in the delivery of employment and training services but also through direct financial contribution.

Westvic Staffing Solutions has established a Foundation to support community endeavour. In previous years the Foundation has assisted regional not for profit organisations including schools to assist students and clients to further develop vocational skills that lead to enhancing their employability.

Foundation support for 2011-12

School and community organisation employability projects – Up to $30,000 will be made available to regional schools and not for profit community organisations that seek to improve the health, well being and safety of students and the community generally. Westvic Staffing Solutions presently has a special focus on responsible drinking awareness and so projects or sponsorship requests that have elements that are aligned with this focus will be viewed favourably.

VET Excellence Awards –The Westvic Foundation will continue to support schools and students through end-of-year VET excellence awards. One $250 award for the best VET student will be available for each of the 25 schools in the region.

"I am very grateful to receive an award like yours for excellence in my VET Hospitality class that I undertook last year. To receive an award such as yours is very encouraging and is something I am proud of after the hard work I put into that subject."
