What an exciting year for Kayla Bradley and her Holstein stud, Miss Moo, with success at the Adelaide, Melbourne and Camperdown shows.
Starting only five years ago when her parents gave Kayla her first stud Holstein calf, Precious, as an 11th birthday present, Kayla has gone from strength to strength.
Kayla took part in A Taste of Dairy last year, a three-day TAFE taster at the National Centre for Dairy Education of Australia (NCDEA).
Now in year 10, Kayla is studying a Certificate II in Agriculture as part of a School Based Apprenticeship in Dairy.
Kayla enjoys the combination of school and working to achieve an industry qualification where she can share ideas and meet new people.
"To see the exciting developments that are happening in research at the DemoDAIRY, where the NCDEA is based, allows me to also extend my knowledge and experiences," Kayla said.
