  Tyler's an outstanding student - 27/7/10

Last year Tyler O’Sullivan-Kirchner was nominated for a South West TAFE Outstanding Student Award. Tyler was signed up by Westvic's Paul Frusher into a traineeship with Leonards Gateway Plaza.

South West TAFE’s Outstanding Student Awards are the forum in which the Institute recognises the excellence in effort, the contribution to their industry and the personal achievements of our students gained through training. There are 5 categories: Apprentice, Trainee, Vocational, Koorie and School Based student. Tyler was nominated as a Trainee under the Certificate II in Food Processing. Tyler was nominated for his commitment to his learning during his traineeship and for the way he worked so cooperatively with fellow staff and customers. His service and performance was recognised by his employers and was given extra tasks and responsibilities.

The awards night was held at the Warrnambool Entertainment Centre and Tyler was awarded with a certificate for his nomination. Tyler wasn’t successful in winning the award but should be very proud of his efforts and being nominated.
